And so it happend. I caught cold. Luckily no fever or pains, but spend nearly whole Saturday sleeping... My nose is better, my throat and ears not. I couldn't go to work today and now I am sitting in bed trying to find a useful way of spending time... Maybe finally I will read the book which was waiting for me on the night table for ages? Good idea :)
My beloved made an awesome vegetable soup for me, and brought me lots of fruit, and today he brought me beautiful bunch of roses... I feel like a princess, but still hope to get well soon!

Sometimes
Sometimes it feels good to cry a bit. The heart becomes lighter and it's easier to breathe, as if the tears were carrying something heavy with them.
Thank you for being always with me. If I could love you back half as much as you love me, I would thank God every day for such a wonderful ability. For now I can only pray for this gift and learn how to be like you. And thank for you being in my life. You are all the best I could find on my way.

Injustice
Days are running quickly and I have no time to sit and write... I try to catch the sunny days - first days of real spring (or maybe even summer), which are still interwined which cold foggy mornings and rainy afternoons. I divide my time between work, studies, gym and relaxing with my beloved. Altogether it's being quite difficult, but I never was a person that likes being bored.
Anyway. Recently I am reading a lot about Islam and human rights, as right now I am studying about religion and social transformations. I also read yesterday about Iranian girl, Delara Darabi, who was supposed to be executed these days as a punishment for a crime that took place when she was only 17, and which was not proven to be her guilt.
Now she is 22, and she is still in prison, waiting for the sentence to be done. In January she tried to commit a suicide. I am absolutely thrilled by the way some countries force their people to live without basic rights and protection, and upset how little people from outside can do about it.
Although many of Islamic states signed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948), many of these rights are violated. There are too many arguments from the Muslim side against accepting and respecting these rights. One if them states that every culture must have its own rights, the other - that the rights provided by Islam are better than any others, and so their law does not need any other regulations...
Every day I thank God that my fiance could run away from his country and that we can live in peace. And we will, because now there is nothing that can force him to go back there.
If you want to help to save Delara, you can send an email to representatives of Iranian judicature:

What makes me happy
Simply - a view like that.
Sun, bright blue sky, silence disturbed only by the waves crashing on the shore. Silver colour of the sea, fresh warm breeze and this feeling of calmness. This is exactly how it was on Easter Monday.
The view of the sea always makes me feel scared and mesmerised at the same time. I can stare at it for hours. I think this has something in common with religious experience. Meeting sacrum also has always these two aspects: it gives a thrill of admiration and a thrill of anxiety.
I feel that sea has a great power hidden inside. It's huge, overwhelming and mysterious. Indescribable.
Amazingly relaxing and refreshing. Suddenly everything makes sense and everything is possible.

preparations and un-expectations :)
Great Saturday was neither warm nor sunny this year. My first holidays in this country will be rather cold and rainy I guess... but at least I don't feel alone :)
After blessing the food in church, which was the main part of today's Easter preparations, we hang around the town a bit. I got some cute colourful flowers and later put them on the dining table - they make our place more happy and it feels like spring...
We also went to one of the charity shops, just to check if they don't have any desks, as my beloved was looking for one for a while. And guess what? There was one! And it was nice, big enough to keep all the stuff and small enough to fit in the room, and cheap! We could not believe it! I think that the Easter Bunny came to him sooner this year as well :)
I also made a special dish for tomorrow, which actually is a dessert - it's sweet cheese mixed with dried fruit and almonds. I did it for the first time in my life, and while it is getting ready in the fridge, I am keeping fingers crossed for it to be tasty :)

Easter Bunny :)
Easter Bunny came earlier this year, at least to my place :) Yesterday I received a slip from the post office saying that I have a package. Today I woke up at 6 in the morning to be there and get it before I start work! It was a package from Mum, with my summer skirts she promised to send me. Buuut... apart from them, there was also Easter card with wishes from everyone, little chocolate bunnies, a funny and useful present (ice trays in the shape of smileys) and - I think this was the greatest bit - 3 pieces of traditional easter cakes made by my Mum! I am saving them for Sunday of course, but I am sure they are delicious...
And that's just the beginning! Because my greatest present, from my beloved, will be... Placebo concert! Yes yes, we are going! Can't wait! Rock ooooooooooon :D
"There are twenty years to go
And many friends I hope
Though some may hold the rose
Some hold the rope
That's the end and that's the start of it
That's the whole and that's the part of it
That's the high and that's the heart of it
That's the long and that's the short of it
That's the best and that's the test of it
That's the doubt, doubt the trust in it
That's the sight and that's the sound of it
That's the gift, that's the trick in it."

My Guardian Angel cares about me and I know it for sure!
A couple of days ago I was walking to work, thinking about the fact that it's gonna be cold again in the office and I will be craving for a hot drink from a vending machine in the kitchen. The drinks there cost only 5p, but machine does not accept 1 or 2p coins, and not banknotes of course.
Thinking about it, I realised that I had "just" 10 pounds' banknote in my purse, which means I couldn't get myself a drink! I would have to ask somebody to change the money for me, and I really didn't want to bother anyone about it...
And, while I was quite close to my workplace, I looked at the ground and what I saw on the pavement? 5p coin! Exactly this what I needed to warm up when starting my work that day...
Thak you my Angel!
